Ubuntu in VPS
Ubuntu is available with all of our Linux VPS packages and you can purchase a VPS running it in just 60 minutes. 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the OS are available, so that you can choose the one which you need when the software that you wish to run on your hosting server has particular system requirements in this regard. You can also select whether your Ubuntu-powered VPS should be installed with no Control Panel, in which case you will have full root access and you will be able to set up anything through a console; or if the Hepsia Control Panel should be set up on it, in which case you will have an online interface and all of the needed web server, MySQL, FTP, electronic mail server, etcetera. software is pre-installed. The root access in the second case will be more restricted, but such a installation is more suitable for users with less experience. We can also keep your Ubuntu up-to-date on a regular basis when you add our Managed Services upgrade. You will be able to do this during the VPS order process or at any later time from your billing Control Panel.
Ubuntu in Dedicated Hosting
Ubuntu is among the OS options which you will find on our registration page in case you choose to acquire one of our Linux dedicated servers hosting packages. We can set up the 32-bit or the 64-bit version, in order to meet the system requirements of the apps that you intend to install on the server. You may also select the software that will operate on your machine, as we will install only the Apache web server software, so all else can be custom-made software of your choice. You'll be able to install the latter without any problems using a Secure Shell console, as you'll receive root-level access and you will get full control of your server. You can install a hosting Control Panel too and manage some things via a graphical interface, as long as it can function on an Ubuntu-driven machine. To make things easier for you, we also supply a Managed Services upgrade, which, among other things, includes Operating System updates.
